Your printing job has specific characteristics. Artoos has various printing presses, each with its own specifications. It is the task of the prepress department to prepare your design for printing, so that it can be printed on the appropriate press.
Our prepress department is first and foremost focused on colours. They have the most advanced means of making printing plates that closely resemble all details and colours of your design.
Automation
Here at Artoos, the prepress is largely automated. This is why we can work quickly and efficiently. Quality is ensured by the ISO 12647 norm. It guarantees limited spoils (the 'lost' prints needed for colour-calibrating the press) by focusing on high consistency at all stages of the production process: from the file that you supply to the final result. We are very keen on new technologies. Because this is in your advantage, and in the advantage of the environment.
You have the final say
Prepress is the last stage before a design goes to print. The advanced automation of our pre-press department gives you, as the customer, the ability to keep an eye on us.
Remote proofing and soft proofing are both possible via a web application. You simply issue an electronic “ready for press” from your computer and we guarantee to produce exactly what you have created and approve.
